Grilled beef steak topped with homemade bearnaise butter, ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
  • 1 (1 1/2-lb.) boneless beef sirloin steak (1 to 1 1/2 inches thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black and red pepper blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill. Mix all butter ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Transfer the butter mixture onto plastic wrap and shape it into a log. Wrap it up and chill in the refrigerator while you get the steak ready.
  • Before grilling, responsibly oil the grill rack. Coat both sides of the steak with olive oil; season with pepper blend and salt. Grill the steak over medium heat on a gas grill or 4 to 6 inches from medium-high coals on a charcoal grill. Grill for 8 to 12 minutes, flipping occasionally, until cooked to your liking.
  • Cut the steak into individual portions and generously top each piece with flavorful bearnaise butter before serving.
