Elevate grilled wings with spicy Thai flavors of oyster sauce, garlic, chili sauce, and cilantro.
Ingredients:
  • 20 chicken wings (about 4 lb)
  • 1/3 cup dry sherry or Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 1/3 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grated lime peel
  • 4 medium green onions, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Trim excess skin from the chicken wings and cut each wing at the joints to create 3 pieces, discarding the tips.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a resealable heavy-duty food-storage plastic bag or large glass bowl, reserving 1/4 cup of marinade in a small bowl. Add chicken to the marinade in the bag and ensure it is coated evenly. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour, flipping the chicken once during marination.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Take chicken out of the marinade and dispose of the marinade in the bag. Place chicken on the grill over medium heat, brush with 1/4 cup reserved marinade, and grill for 45 to 60 minutes, turning once. Cook until chicken juices run clear when the thickest part is cut to the bone (180°F). Discard any leftover marinade.
