Savory ground beef and spinach combine in a delicious casserole – a crowd-pleasing dish that's simple to make and ideal for potlucks.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 dashes hot pepper sauce, or more to taste
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package grated mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Discard grease. Add mushrooms, oregano, hot sauce, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Combine spinach, condensed soup, and sour cream in a pot and heat for approximately 5 minutes. Then, transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake until the cheese is gooey and bubbly, about 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
