Gourmet Bison Tacos with Oaxaca Cheese and Fresh Salad Mix for a delicious twist on taco night!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground bison
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix, or to taste
  • 2 (11 ounce) packages flour tortillas (street taco size)
  • 1 (8.5 ounce) package salad kit “fiesta lime”
  • 1 medium Roma tomato, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste
  • 0.33 cup shredded Oaxaca cheese
Instructions:
  • In a hot skillet, cook ground bison with taco seasoning until perfectly browned and crumbly, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Warm the tortillas on a comal or in a tortilla warming bag in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • Lay out the tortillas and top each with a generous amount of cooked ground bison, fresh salad mix, fragrant cilantro, juicy diced tomatoes, and creamy Oaxaca cheese.
  • Pour the salad dressing from the packet over the assembled tacos and savor every bite!
