Elevate your weekend meal with flaky croissant sandwiches filled with ham and Swiss cheese, baked to perfection for a delicious and easy brunch option.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 0.25 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 croissants, split
  • 8 thin slices deli ham
  • 3 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.75 cup 2% milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions:
  • Combine butter, Dijon mustard, onion, maple syrup, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl. Spread the mixture evenly on the cut sides of the croissants.
  • Lay the croissant bottom halves on a cutting board, then add the ham, folding to fit the croissant. Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the croissants and top each with the top halves.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Generously coat a casserole dish or a cast iron skillet with cooking spray. Arrange croissants in a single layer in the pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture evenly over the croissants. Sprinkle bagel seasoning on top of each croissant. Let the dish sit for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 32 to 38 minutes until the croissants are golden brown and the egg mixture is perfectly set. If croissants are getting too browned around 25 minutes, cover with foil. Serve hot.
