Cheesy Hamburger Macaroni: A simple, comforting weeknight meal with tomato soup and melty American cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1.5 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans tomato soup
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
  • 1 pinch Italian seasoning, or to taste
  • 1 pinch seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 3 slices fat-free American cheese
Instructions:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni until al dente, about 8 minutes; drain.
  • In a hot skillet, brown ground beef and minced onion until almost cooked through and crumbly, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook until beef is fully browned, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain excess grease before proceeding.
  • Combine macaroni, tomato soup, corn, Italian seasoning, and seasoned salt with the ground beef mixture. Place American cheese slices on top. Cover the skillet until the cheese is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes, then stir to combine well.
