Indulgent meaty gravy made with pan drippings, flour, and milk to drizzle over noodles, mashed potatoes, or flaky biscuits.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until perfectly browned and crumbly, for about 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle flour over the beef, stirring until evenly coated and all fat is absorbed.
  • Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat. Incorporate 2 cups of milk, cooking and stirring until warm and gently thickened, for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour in the remaining 2 cups of milk and continue to cook and stir until the gravy reaches your desired consistency and boils, which should take around 5 minutes. Season with onion salt, salt, and pepper to taste.
