Classic Hamburger Potato Casserole: Layers of savory ground beef, potatoes, mushroom soup, onion, and melted Cheddar cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble the ground beef for 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through. Discard any excess grease after cooking.
  • In a medium bowl, combine condensed soup, milk, onion, salt, and pepper until mixed well. Layer the potatoes, soup mixture, and browned ground beef in a 2-quart baking dish, alternating as you go.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until potatoes are tender, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.
