Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
Instructions:
  • Place the eggs in a single layer in a 2-quart saucepan. Cover them with cold water, ensuring the water level is at least 1 inch above the eggs. Bring to a boil over high heat, then remove from heat. Cover with a lid and let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Drain the hot water from the eggs and cool them by running cold water over them in the saucepan until completely chilled.
  • Gently crack the egg on the counter, then roll it between your hands to loosen the shell before peeling from the large end. If the shell is stubborn, peel the egg under cold water.
