Kid-friendly and delicious crunchy hash browns for all ages to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 4 large sebago potatoes (see note)
  • 60g butter
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 120°C and place a baking tray inside to warm up. Then, wash, peel, and grate the potatoes.
  • Using your hands, firmly squeeze out excess liquid from the potato. Discard the liquid and transfer the potato to a large bowl. Season the potato mixture and stir until fully combined.
  • In a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, melt one-third of butter with 1 tablespoon of oil until foamy. Drop 1/3 cupfuls of mixture into the pan and flatten with a spoon.
  • Sear each side for 5 minutes until golden brown. Place on a heated baking tray and keep warm in the oven. Continue cooking the rest of the mixture, adding butter and oil as needed. Serve with grilled tomatoes, if desired.
