Tasty Hawaiian chicken burgers for a fun Friday night!
Ingredients:
  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 150g English Ham
  • 4 pineapple thins
  • 27.00 gm maple syrup
  • 4 round brioche buns
  • 8 Colby cheese slices
  • Lettuce leaves, to serve
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • Garlic aioli, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat barbecue grill plate or chargrill pan. Slice the chicken fillets horizontally in half. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Arrange the ham and pineapple slices on a tray, then generously brush with maple syrup. Lightly oil the grill. Grill the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until beautifully golden and fully cooked. Transfer to a clean tray, cover, and keep warm.
  • 1. Heat ham and pineapple slices for 1-2 minutes per side until lightly golden. 2. Split buns and toast until golden. 3. Place bun bases on serving plates. 4. Layer with cheese, lettuce, chicken, ham, pineapple, tomato, and aioli. 5. Top with remaining buns and serve.
