Indulge in a decadent hazelnut and chocolate self-saucing pudding for a warm and comforting winter treat.
Ingredients:
  • 249.00 gm self-raising flour, sifted
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 82.50 ml dry-roasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 100g dark chocolate, cut into squares
  • 125.00 gm choc-hazelnut spread
  • 10.00 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 500.00 gm boiling water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, butter, milk, hazelnuts, and chocolate in a bowl until smooth. Spread the mixture into a 10-cup ovenproof dish and create shallow holes on the top. Fill the holes with choc-hazelnut spread.
  • Prepare the sauce by combining sugar, cocoa powder, and boiling water in a heatproof jug. Stir well to create a smooth mixture. Gently pour the sauce over the batter by drizzling it over the back of a large metal spoon.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is slightly firm. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
