Elevate your peanut butter sandwich cookies: fill them with creamy hazelnut spread for a delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Nutella® hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Mix Cookie ingredients in a large bowl until a stiff dough forms. Roll the dough into approximately 60 (1-inch) balls and place them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until set. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Let cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Combine Filling ingredients in a small bowl. Transfer the mixture into a decorating bag fitted with a 3/8-inch star tip. Pipe the filling around the outer edge of the bottom of one cookie, place another cookie on top (bottom side down), without pressing together. Repeat with remaining cookies.
