Grandma's healthier pancakes: Less butter, egg whites, nonfat milk. Perfect breakfast choice!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1.25 cups nonfat milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl, sifting them together. Create a well in the center and add milk, egg whites, and melted butter. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Cook until golden brown on both sides, then serve hot.
