"String cheese coated in Parmesan breadcrumbs, baked in olive oil, and served with marinara for a gourmet appetizer."
Ingredients:
  • olive oil, or as needed
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 (1 ounce) sticks string cheese, halved and frozen
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a small bowl, whisk the egg. In another small bowl, add the flour. Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a separate bowl.
  • Coat each cheese stick in flour, then egg, and press into bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet individually. Drizzle with olive oil and cover with foil before baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until perfectly crisp, for around 4 minutes.
