Tomato and mozzarella salad with balsamic dressing

Ingredients:
  • 40.00 ml capers, drained
  • 20.00 ml aged balsamic vinegar
  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 4 fresh mozzarella balls, thickly sliced
  • 1 red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 125.00 ml fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
  • In a small frying pan over medium heat, warm half of the oil. Add the capers and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes until crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Combine the remaining oil and vinegar in a small jug and whisk until fully mixed.
  • Prepare a stunning presentation by layering the tomato, mozzarella, onion, and basil on a platter. Enhance the flavors with a generous drizzle of balsamic dressing and a sprinkle of capers. Serve promptly to enjoy at its freshest!
