Healthy skin-boosting porridge recipe

Skin-boosting breakfast packed with vitamin C from berries and oranges.
Ingredients:
  • 35g (1/3 cup) rolled oats
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) unsweetened almond milk, plus extra, to serve
  • 0.63 gm ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 orange, pith removed, sliced into rounds
  • 75g (1/2 cup) fresh or thawed frozen berries (such as blueberries or blackberries)
  • 2 brazil nuts, finely chopped
  • 20.00 ml pomegranate arils
  • 2 tsp pepitas
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan, mix oats, almond milk, cinnamon, and 60ml (1/4 cup) water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and cook, stirring frequently, for 3-4 minutes until the porridge is thick and creamy. Serve in a bowl.
  • Garnish the porridge with orange slices and berries, sprinkle with brazil nuts, pomegranate seeds, and pepitas. Finish by drizzling with a splash of extra milk before serving.
