Quick and easy rice bowl with flavorful ginger-seasoned salmon, kale, and green onion.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound salmon, cut into chunks
  • 0.5 cup thinly sliced kale, or to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, thinly sliced, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water, or more if needed
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked rice, or to taste
  • 1 sheet seaweed, torn into small pieces
  • 0.5 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan, combine salmon, kale, green onions, and ginger. Pour water and heat over medium-high. Bring to a boil, then simmer until salmon easily flakes with a fork, approximately 10 minutes. Add extra water if necessary. Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix rice into the salmon blend; heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat, fold in seaweed, and drizzle with sesame oil.
