Indulge in a romantic heart-shaped pizza made with love using pre-made dough and simple toppings. Perfect for Valentine's Day or showing your pizza fanatics some love.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound prepared pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cooked sausage
  • Pepperoni slices
Instructions:
  • Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Divide the dough into two pieces, one larger than the other. Press the larger piece into a square shape and roll the smaller piece into a circle, then cut the circle in half.
  • Brush a pizza stone with a teaspoon of oil. Place the dough square on the stone with one point down.
  • Place the straight side of one dough half circle on the upper left edge of the square, and the other half circle on the upper right edge. Press the seams together to join.
  • Generously spread the savory pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a little room at the edges for that perfect crust. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese, followed by the flavorful sausage and pepperoni to create a deliciously classic pizza topping.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 17 to 19 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden. Allow it to rest for 3 minutes before slicing.
