Festive holiday ham with a deliciously mild sweetness. Great for Easter or Christmas!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 pound) fully-cooked spiral cut ham
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups Scotch whiskey
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Place the ham flat side down in the roasting pan. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, mustard, cinnamon, and Scotch in a bowl. Brush some of the mixture onto the ham, saving the rest for basting.
  • Roast in the preheated oven, brushing with juices every 20 minutes, for 2 hours. Take out from the oven and lightly cover with aluminum foil. Allow to rest for 15 minutes before uncovering and serving. Enjoy this flavorful ham warm, at room temperature, or chilled.
