Helen’s rice pudding with raisins

Ingredients:
  • 85 g pudding rice
  • 600 ml milk
  • 85 g raisins
Instructions:
  • Combine rice and milk in a pan over medium heat. Stir continuously until just boiling. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes until rice absorbs the milk, stirring regularly. Add raisins and heat until warm. Cool, then chop or mash to desired consistency. Optional: Try using different cereals like semolina or tapioca, and experiment with various dried or fresh fruits.
