Easy and fragrant popovers made by blending batter, filling muffin cups, and baking to golden perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups fat-free (skim) milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg whites
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F and generously spray two 6-cup popover pans or twelve 6-ounce custard cups with cooking spray.
  • Add all ingredients into the blender. Blend on medium speed for about 15 seconds, pausing to scrape down the sides if needed, until smooth.
  • Fill cups halfway. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until a deep golden brown. Remove from cups right away and serve hot.
