Reel in a quick and low-fat dinner idea!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fish fillets, about 1/2 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick Heart Smart® mix
  • 1/4 cup Progresso™ garlic herb bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Cut the fish into 4 serving pieces and heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
  • 1. Combine Bisquick mix, bread crumbs, basil, and salt in a small shallow dish. 2. In another shallow dish, beat the egg. 3. Dip the fish into the egg mixture, then coat it evenly with the Bisquick mixture.
  • Lower the heat to medium-low and gently cook the fish in oil for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping it once, until it flakes easily with a fork and is golden brown on both sides.
