Hoisin glazed roast turkey breast

Elevate frozen turkey with a savory hoisin and sweet honey glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 2.8kg Ingham frozen Whole Turkey Breast, thawed
  • 135.00 gm hoisin sauce
  • 89.38 gm honey
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Steamed white rice, to serve
  • Broccoli, to serve
  • Toasted sesame seeds, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 180°C. Prep your large roasting dish by adding 2 cups of water. Gently position the thawed turkey, skin-side up, on the rack inside the dish.
  • Combine hoisin sauce, honey, and oil using a fork. Brush half the mixture onto the turkey. Cover the turkey with baking paper, then the roasting pan with foil. Roast for 1 1/4 hours.
  • Uncover the turkey and discard foil and baking paper. Brush the turkey with the remaining hoisin mixture. Roast for another 45 minutes, making sure to baste with the pan juices every 15 minutes, until the skin turns golden and the juices run clear when the thickest part of the turkey is pierced with a skewer.
  • Take the turkey out of the oven and cover it with foil. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Arrange rice and broccoli on plates, sprinkle with sesame seeds, place slices of turkey on top, drizzle with pan juices, and serve.
