Indulgent peanut butter whiskey balls - a festive treat with a boozy kick.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (11 ounce) box vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1.25 cups powdered sugar, divided
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter whiskey
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • Crush vanilla wafers in a food processor until fine crumbs form, then transfer to a large bowl. Pulse peanuts in the food processor until finely chopped and combine with the crumbs.
  • Combine 1 cup of powdered sugar, whiskey, honey, peanut butter, and salt with the crumb-peanut mixture. Shape the mixture into 20 balls each measuring 1 1/2 inches.
  • Combine cocoa and the remaining powdered sugar in a shallow dish. Roll each whiskey ball in the cocoa mixture to coat lightly. Chill for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
