Hearty beef stew with fluffy baked biscuits - a cozy family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil, undrained
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1 bag (1 lb) frozen cauliflower, carrots and snow peas (or other combination)
  • 2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Brown beef in a 4-quart ovenproof Dutch oven over medium heat. Add water, tomatoes, tomato paste, and vegetables. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
  • Combine all the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Using a spoon, drop 6 spoonfuls of the dough onto the beef mixture.
  • Bake without covering for 20 to 25 minutes until biscuits turn golden brown and stew starts to bubble.
