Deliciously simple homemade cinnamon and vanilla pudding inspired by Salvadorian flavors, perfect for any celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 4.25 cups milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 0.25 cup raisins
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Combine milk, egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and flour in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a large pot over medium heat. Add a cinnamon stick and stir with a wooden spoon. Mix in raisins, vanilla extract, and butter, whisking until thickened and smooth for 10-15 minutes.
  • Once the pudding is ready, elegantly spoon it into serving bowls and generously sprinkle with fragrant ground cinnamon.
