Thanksgiving table gets a delicious upgrade with creamy pumpkin pie frozen yogurt.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups plain whole milk yogurt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1.125 cups raw sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons brandy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.125 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
  • In a mixing bowl, blend together yogurt, cream, sugar, pumpkin puree, brandy, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until sugar and salt have dissolved. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Transfer the chilled mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze until it turns into a creamy "soft-serve" texture, approximately 20 minutes based on the manufacturer's instructions. Next, scoop the ice cream into a lidded container that can hold one or two quarts. For optimal flavor and texture, allow the ice cream to mature in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours or ideally overnight.
