Elevate pizza with delicious bite-size pinwheels to wow your loved ones or guests.
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds Wrap® Non Stick Aluminum Foil
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • 8 ounces bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pizza sauce, warmed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a large baking sheet with Reynolds Wrap® Non-Stick Aluminum Foil sprinkled with cornmeal.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until nicely browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Spread out the pizza dough on a baking sheet. Shape it into a 13x10-inch rectangle. Add the sausage, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle 1/2 cup mozzarella over the sausage. Layer spinach on top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Roll the dough into a 13-inch loaf, starting from a long side. Seal the seam and ends by pinching them together.
  • Lay the loaf, seam side down, on the baking sheet. Brush with egg wash and make four 2-inch slits on top to allow steam to escape.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. If needed, cover for the last 5 minutes to avoid overbrowning. Slice into rounds and serve with pizza sauce.
