Master the art of high-heat wok cooking for quick, aromatic Asian stir-fries with sizzle and shake.
Ingredients:
  • 89.38 gm honey
  • 42.00 gm salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 24.40 gm oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 600g chicken thigh fillets, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 115g baby corn, halved lengthways
  • 4 green onions, cut into 4cm lengths
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
Instructions:
  • Combine honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon cold water in a bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • Heat the wok over high heat, then add half of the peanut oil and swirl to coat the wok. Add half of the chicken and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until light golden and almost cooked through. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining oil and chicken.
  • Place the chicken back into the wok and introduce the corn and onion. Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until the corn is tender. Pour in the sauce mixture and continue to stir-fry for 1 minute until the sauce thickens. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve with rice.
