Honey-marinated chicken coated in crunchy corn flakes and nuts, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1.25 teaspoons salt
  • 2.5 pounds assorted chicken parts, skinned
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup crushed corn flakes cereal
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine honey, Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, lemon juice, and salt until the salt dissolves. Add chicken to the marinade, ensuring each piece is coated, then cover and refrigerate for 24 hours, flipping the chicken halfway through.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying the foil with cooking spray.
  • Combine corn flake crumbs, walnuts, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a shallow bowl. Coat chicken pieces with the crumb mixture, then place them in a baking dish.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until the chicken is no longer pink inside, the juices run clear, and the exterior is nicely browned, around 1 hour. Use an instant-read meat thermometer to ensure that the thickest piece of chicken reads at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C) before serving.
