Whip up a quick and sweet Chex® cereal mix with sunflower seeds and honey in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 1 cup Honey Nut Cheerios™ cereal
  • 1/4 cup sunflower nuts
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 cup pastel-colored candy-coated chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Combine cereals and sunflower nuts in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • In a microwave-safe measuring cup, heat the butter and honey on High for 45 to 60 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until the mixture boils and the butter melts. Pour this over the cereal mixture, ensuring even coating. Microwave on High for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until the mixture is fully coated and glazed.
  • Cool the mixture on a sheet of waxed paper or foil until it sets. Transfer the cooled mixture into a serving bowl and gently mix in the chocolate candies. Keep the treat fresh by storing it in an airtight container.
