Elevate steelhead trout fillets with a sweet and smoky honey-mesquite glaze for irresistible flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound steelhead trout fillets
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons mesquite seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (such as LAWRY'S®)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a piping hot 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Lay the trout skin-side down on the baking sheet. Drizzle honey over the trout, then sprinkle with mesquite seasoning, black pepper, and seasoned salt. Gently press the honey and seasonings into the trout using a fork.
  • Cook the dish in the preheated oven until the fish easily flakes with a fork, for about 15 to 20 minutes.
