Marinate honey-soy chops, grill them after work for a delicious family dinner.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 6 (1-inch thick) bone-in pork chops
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture to a resealable plastic bag. Add pork chops, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade. Remove any excess air, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight to marinate.
  • Remove the pork chops from the flavorful marinade, gently shake off any excess, and discard the rest of the marinade.
  • Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate for a perfect sear.
  • Grill the pork chops until perfectly seared and cooked through, about 8 minutes per side, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 145°F (63°C) when inserted into the center. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
