Asian-Inspired Foil-Baked Salmon with honey, soy, garlic, and ginger for a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors.
Ingredients:
  • heavy-duty aluminum foil
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (4 pound) salmon fillet
  • 4 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with heavy-duty foil.
  • Combine the honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, Sriracha, and pepper in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • Lay the salmon on a lined baking sheet and fold up the edges of the foil. Drizzle the salmon with the honey mixture. Seal by placing another sheet of foil on top and crimping the edges.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 15-20 minutes. Switch to broil after removing from the oven.
  • Uncover the dish and broil for 2 to 3 minutes until it is golden brown and slightly charred.
  • Sprinkle with fresh green onion and toasted sesame seeds.
