"Whip up fast and flavorful honey-soy salmon in under 45 minutes - perfect for a quick and delicious dinner!"
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (2 pound) salmon fillet, cut into 4-ounce portions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, honey, and garlic powder in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave briefly in intervals until the honey is liquefied. Mix everything together well.
  • Place the salmon in a glass or ceramic dish and generously pour the flavorful marinade over it. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and allow the salmon to marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to enhance its taste.
  • In a large cast iron skillet over medium heat, combine olive oil and butter.
  • Take the salmon out of the marinade and gently shake off any extra liquid. Dispose of the remaining marinade. Place the salmon in the skillet with the skin-side down. Cook until the edges become opaque, approximately 8 minutes. Then, flip the salmon, remove the skin, and continue cooking until the fish flakes easily with a fork, which should take about 3 more minutes. Finally, flip the salmon over to brown both sides.
