Honeyed macadamia pears

Quick and delightful dessert with honey, macadamia nuts, and pears.
Ingredients:
  • 4 firm ripe beurre bosc pears
  • 117.98 gm honey
  • 1.88 gm ground cinnamon
  • 30g unsalted roasted macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
  • 165.00 ml natural low-fat yoghurt
Instructions:
  • Slice pears into 1cm-thick lengthways slices. Gently warm honey and cinnamon in a large frying pan. Add pears and cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes until soft. Transfer to a plate and keep warm under a cover.
  • Mix in the macadamia nuts with the honey mixture and cook while stirring for 1 to 2 minutes until the syrup thickens slightly.
  • Place the pear slices elegantly on the plates, drizzle generously with the honeyed macadamia mixture, and serve alongside a dollop of yoghurt.
