Spicy Cajun shrimp appetizer for a party.

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • In a pan over medium heat, heat oil until shimmering. Cook shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle in onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Pour in water to prevent spices from sticking.
