Delicious hot cocoa cookies with a cozy twist of marshmallows and cocoa, made from chocolate chip cookie mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 envelopes (1 oz each) instant hot cocoa mix and 2 envelopes (0.2 oz each) marshmallows (from 1 box marshmallow lovers hot cocoa mix with marshmallows)
  • Powdered sugar or unsweetened baking cocoa, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, butter, egg, 2 envelopes of cocoa mix, and 1 envelope of marshmallows in a large bowl until a stiff dough forms. Drop slightly less than a tablespoonful of dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place marshmallows from the remaining envelope on the tops of the dough.
  • Bake until edges are lightly golden brown, about 9 to 11 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute, then transfer to a cooling rack. Once completely cooled, dust with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
