Delicious baked clam dip made with minced clams, lemon, butter, onion, and bell pepper. Easy to prepare and even easier to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, drained
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 0.5 green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 cup dried bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch paprika
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect temperature before baking.
  • In a small saucepan, mix minced clams with fresh lemon juice. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium-sized saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat with onion, bell pepper, parsley, oregano, hot sauce, and red pepper. Stir in clams and breadcrumbs.
  • Transfer the mixture into a baking dish that is safe for the oven. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top and dust with paprika.
  • Place in the hot oven and bake for 20 minutes without covering.
