Fluffy cake recipe that pairs perfectly with strawberries. Easy and quick to make.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1.6667000055313 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan by greasing and flouring it. Sift the flour and baking powder together and set aside. In a small saucepan, bring the milk and butter to a gentle boil, then remove from heat and set aside.
  • Whisk eggs until they are thick and a pale yellow color. Incorporate sugar, salt, vanilla, and almond extract. Lower mixer speed to medium and pour in hot milk gradually. Swiftly mix in the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the center springs back when lightly tapped.
