Spicy oven-baked seven-layer dip: cream cheese, refried beans, melted cheddar, olives, tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado for a zesty twist. Perfect for parties!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1 can (16 oz) Old El Paso™ Traditional Refried Beans
  • 1 tablespoon from 1 container (6.25 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled, diced
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • Sliced jalapeños, if desired
  • Corn or tortilla chips, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 10-inch ovenproof skillet with cooking spray. Warm the whipping cream in the skillet over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. Take it off the heat and add the cream cheese; let it sit for 2 minutes. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.
  • Combine refried beans and taco seasoning in a small bowl. Spoon over the cream cheese mixture without spreading. Top with ripe olives and then cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 23 to 27 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the dip is piping hot.
  • Garnish with fresh avocado, ripe tomato, onions, and spicy jalapeños. Accompany with crunchy chips.
