Savor these delectable slow-cooked turkey sandwiches for dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless whole turkey breast halves (2 to 2 1/2 lb each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 12 wheat or white burger buns, split
  • Cranberry sauce, if desired
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Then, place the turkey breast halves in the slow cooker and generously season them with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and let simmer on low heat for 7 to 8 hours.
  • Take out the turkey from the slow cooker and allow it to cool for a bit. Transfer 2/3 cup of juices from the slow cooker to a 1-quart saucepan. Stir in the soup thoroughly. Heat over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is hot.
  • Slice the turkey and layer it on the bottom buns. Top with gravy and cover with the top buns. Serve the sandwiches with cranberry sauce on the side.
