Delicious skillet-warmed turkey sandwich on sourdough with spicy pepper Jack cheese, zesty salsa-mayo, and fresh green onions.
Ingredients:
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 0.5 pound deli-sliced turkey
  • 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
  • Combine green onions, mayonnaise, and salsa in a small bowl until fully mixed. Spread the mixture evenly onto each bread slice. Layer turkey and pepper Jack cheese on 4 slices of bread. Place the remaining bread slices on top to create 4 delicious sandwiches.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Place sandwiches in the skillet and fry until bottoms are lightly toasted. Add the rest of the butter to the skillet, then flip sandwiches over and continue cooking until browned and cheese is melted.
