Create adorable ice cream cone cake pops using your favorite cake flavor for a delicious and fun kids' birthday party treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix (or your favorite flavor)
  • Water, vegetable and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 24 flat-bottom ice cream cones
  • 2 tubs (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Vanilla Frosting
  • Assorted Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake mix according to the box instructions with water, oil, and eggs. Fill muffin cups two-thirds full with the batter. Place inverted ice cream cones on top of each muffin batter, pressing down gently.
  • Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove carefully from pans onto cooling racks, leaving cupcakes on the bottom and cones inverted. Allow to cool completely, then remove paper liners from cupcakes and place them on a cookie sheet. Freeze until chilled.
  • Top the cupcakes generously with luscious vanilla frosting, being mindful that they may become top-heavy when turned upright. Sprinkle colorful sprinkles over the frosting for a delightful finishing touch.
