Try these Ice Cream Cone Cakes for a fun and unique dessert! Kids will enjoy their cake in a cone with colorful toppings like candy sprinkles. Perfect for birthdays or as party favors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Party Rainbow Chip Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 24 flat-bottom ice cream cones
  • 2 tubs (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (or your favorite flavor)
  • Decorating Sprinkles, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans), and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake batter according to the instructions on the box. Fill each muffin cup evenly with the batter. Gently place an ice cream cone upside down on top of the batter in each cup.
  • - Bake the cakes for 13 to 18 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (cones may tilt slightly on batter). Let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove them and place cone side up on a cooling rack. Allow the cakes to cool completely for about 30 minutes before carefully removing the paper baking cups. Frost generously and decorate to your liking, then store loosely covered at room temperature.
