Indulge in a decadent frozen pie with a rich chocolate wafer crust, layers of creamy vanilla ice cream, ripe strawberries, and fluffy whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup finely crushed chocolate wafers
  • 0.5 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen sweetened strawberries, thawed
  • 0.25 cup walnut halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for that perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine chocolate wafer crumbs, chopped walnuts, and softened butter in a medium bowl. Press mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 7 minutes, then refrigerate until well chilled.
  • Whip whipping cream and confectioners' sugar in a medium bowl until soft peaks form. Spread half of the ice cream into the crust. Layer with strawberries, then top with the remaining ice cream. Spread whipped cream on top and garnish with walnut halves. Freeze for 2 hours before serving. Rest for 10 minutes at room temperature before slicing.
