Magical cheeseburger pie with homemade crust. Family-favorite flavors for a top-rated dish loved by thousands of home cooks.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick™ Original Pancake & Baking Mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Cook the beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the beef is browned; then drain. Mix in salt, spread the mixture in a pie plate, and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl until well mixed, then pour into a pie plate.
  • Bake for 29 to 33 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to stand for 10 minutes before serving.
