Try this delicious French Apple Pie recipe for a crowd! Serves 15.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 6 cups sliced peeled tart apples (6 medium)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 4 eggs, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 13x9-inch pan. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of Bisquick mix and brown sugar. Add 1/4 cup of butter and blend until mixture is crumbly. Mix in nuts and set aside.
  • Combine fresh, crisp apples with a warm blend of cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl, then transfer to a baking pan. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mix the remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour this mixture over the apples and generously sprinkle with delicious streusel.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown. Allow to cool for 30 minutes until fully set before cutting into squares. Refrigerate for storage.
