Indulge in a cheesy Italian chicken pie bursting with authentic flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (5 ounces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to a toasty 400°F and generously grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Spread a generous layer of Parmesan cheese in the pie plate. Combine chicken, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and tomato paste; spread mixture over the Parmesan cheese.
  • Blend together the Bisquick mix, milk, pepper, and eggs until smooth. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, then sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese. Continue baking for an additional 5 to 8 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
